aujourd'hui est un fauve

today is a rare day, obviously, and a very bright day it was, with a welcome touch of spring. We brought in a few sprigs of willow and the catkins are, joy, about to break out.
Wet ground still, not much growth out there yet, pretty much all the food that the goats will eat has to be carried to them every day, hay and straw, briars (brambles, a goat favourite), some dried bread and a little organic concentrates. I have not dug my new raised beds as I had planned but I will. We just ordered our first seeds, are we not a little slow this year. So we stay with this, this may be a slow year, to enjoy.
